Each day we face thousands of things that can be overwhelming and even make our days seem like the worst of our whole life. Sometimes we are filled with negativity, and we are not able to see the good things that happen to us. However, there are things that if we perform every morning can help us to improve our day.
10 Things you should do every morning for your day to be much better
1- Don’t look at the phone as so as you awaken. You can look at the time or some important message, but it eliminates the habit of getting into Instagram, facebook or twitter after just waking up.
2- Stretch out. Your extremities will thank you for it.
3- Send a message to someone you love and tell them something that you know they want to hear. It can be something as simple as “I was thinking of you” or “I miss you”.
4- Smile at strangers when you’re on the way to work. You’ll be amazed to see how many will return a smile.
5 – Drink three times more water than coffee.
6 – Do not postpone the alarm just get up when it rings. This will prevent you from falling into a deep sleep that is difficult to get out of. The more you sleep, the more tired you’ll be.
7 – Bring silence to your brain, there’s is nothing more awakening. Do it progressively. Start by 60 seconds of silence, in which you take your coffee, look out the window or just feel, without looking at any screens. Take your time and enjoy the moment.
8 – Write down three things for which you are grateful. This will remind you that you are looking for good things and not things that make you angry.
9 – Read something that provides you with motivation or peace of mind. It can be a chapter of a book or a motivational quote. It will be a nice rest from the intensity of social media.
10 – Say something nice to a coworker when you arrive at the office. Starting the day with positive energy has many benefits.
