The star of Gossip Girl did not have a childhood like that of her character. She was born in prison as her mother was incarcerated at that time. Her father was also a convict so she grew up with her grandmother and spent all her adolescence worried about money and whether she would be able to eat each day.

The actress and her mother did not have an easy life a few decades ago. They had to flee home because of the aggressive nature of her father and were forced to live in a hostel for a while.
3 – Oprah
All the world knows Oprah today, but her childhood was not easy at all. Her family experienced numerous troubles, and the presenter explained that his only toys were a pair of spoons. Her grandmother made clothes from potato sacks.
4 – Hilary Swank
Winner of two Academy Awards, Swank was not always so fortunate. When she was little she lived in a caravan with her mother until she moved to Los Angeles, where they lived in a car.

His parents were Chinese immigrants so at only 11 years old, was forced to work in a factory with her family in order to survive. This fact has led her to become a Unicef ambassador to fight against child poverty.

The last James Bond slept on the streets of London when he was young since he had no money to pay for an apartment until he got a job as an actor.
7 – Sarah Jessica Parker
Being a member of a large family with seven brothers and sisters, she survived thanks to the public aid of the State. They were not always able to pay the light and water of the house in which they lived.

Her childhood was difficult because her father was abusing her mother, so to speak, and they barely had money to eat. Twain lost her parents after a car accident and had to take care of her brothers.
