David and Victoria Beckham living separate lives, but it works for them. After nearly two decades of marriage, maybe they have distanced themselves but did not think to end it in divorce, despite the multiple reports that make this claim. Really?
Us Weekly reports that the Beckhams will always be a family, but the couple live very different lives.
“They will always be a family,” said an insider exclusively to the new issue of Us Weekly. “But David and Victoria are leading different lives.”
Victory, 43 years old, recently decided that she was tired of Los Angeles and wanted to move the family back to the U. K., so she could work more on her fashion line.
“Victoria just wants an easy life – she doesn’t want stress,” says the source close to the Spice Girl.
David, 42 years old on the other hand, is enjoying his retirement from football and once in a while “does his own things”. Adds the insider:
“It is not unusual for couples to change and distance themselves from one another.”
Even when the couple is in their cottage in Oxfordshire, England, they are in different worlds. The house has been designed with sections for him and her said a source.
“I think it’s like having separate lives. When you’ve been married for so long, some kind of distance does it well!”
Victoria and David Beckham married in July 1999, has four children together, three boys, Brooklyn, 19, Romeo, 15, Cruz, 13, and a girl, 6 years old, Harper.
“The children are the common thread that keeps them united,” said the source, who also adds that the couple spent Brooklyn’s birhday in NYC, and the Easter weekend in Miami, as a family.
“They are like any married couple I know – some days are so loving, other are cold,” says a second source. “that’s what happens when you have spent so many years together.”
Despite the fact that they look very cool when they are together, David and Victoria are “very fun”.
“Victoria is tough at the beginning, but once you break the ice, she is fun and cool. David is simply amazing.”
So, this report of Us is only a “living separate lives” because each one is dedicated to doing their own thing and having separate wings in their cottage. But the headline seems to say, Oh My God, they are separated! That is like a click bait, isn’t it? LOL! Even so, I would not be surprised if suddenly they do.
