Halle Berry does not regret having made the film Catwoman, which was a total failure at the box office, because she received a lot of money for it. HA! Feline instincts$$$$$$
Obviously, she first spoke of the role that gave her an Oscar in 2002, in the film Monster’s Ball, and how the role scared her a lot. But she trusted her instincts and her decision to take the role gave her the coveted Academy Award for Best Actress.
But a year later, Halle followed her instincts again.
“Everyone said to me, ‘Girl, don’t do it, that will be the death for you, it will end your career. Well, guess what I did? I followed my instincts and made the movie Catwoman… and failed! Miserably.”
“But what I took” – said Berry. “Because they know that? While it failed for many people, it was not a failure for me. Because guess what? I met many interesting people, that I would not have otherwise known, I’ve learned two forms of martial arts and I learned what not to do, and learning what not to do is more important than learning what to do.”
“And I got that gift, and I got a lot of money that changed my life.”
Meowwww! Halle then explained that to follow your instincts does not mean that you will always be successful. But it means that you’re always going to learn the “important lesson” or get the “correct praise” that you should get.
So, for that matter, if the film is a failure, what matters is the check, in addition to what you have learned and the people you met… LOL!
