Harvey Weinstein appeared at a New York police precinct on Friday and was charged with multiple charges of rape and sexual abuse to two women, seven months after seven women came out and spoke about his inappropriate sexual behavior towards them.

Weinstein voluntarily submitted to the NYPD this morning, and came out in handcuffs, and smiling way to court, where he was charged with rape, sexual act, criminal sexual abuse and inappropriate sexual behavior on incidents involving two women.

The charges against the Hollywood produce are two isolated incidents, one in 2013 and another in 2004, said the Manhattan district attorney in a press release, this was the result of a joint investigation between the police and the office of the Manhattan district attorney.

According to the complaint, Weinstein was accused of rape by a woman, not identified, the incident occurred on March 18, 2013. The other woman involved is Lucia Evans, which is said to have occurred in 2004.  TMZ has the details, but sorry… to rape one person and force another to do oral (not necessary, right?)

The bond of Harvey Weinstein was set at $10 million… he was released with a monitoring device, and paid $1 million in cash. He is not allowed to travel outside of New York or Connecticut, without the approval of the judge. His passport was also confiscated.

Although Weinstein has not submitted a statement today, according to TMZ, his lawyer, Ben Brafman said:

“Mr. Weinstein has always maintained that he never had non-consensual sexual behavior with anyone. Nothing about the procedure today changes the position of Mr. Weinstein. Weinstein argues that he is not guilty of the charges filed today and trust he will be exonerated completely.”

Right! Brafman says that Weinstein could be guilty of bad behavior but not of a criminal conduct, adding that his client did not invent the Casting Couch – (Casting couch, casting sheet, operation mattress, you know, that to sleep with the director to be the main character in a movie). Says that that procedure has been around for a long time. WTF?

The judge also granted an order of protection to one of the victims, Weinstein is forbidden to contact one of the women, it is not clear because the order was not for the two.

Lucia Evans is one of the dozens of women who came out and accused Weinstein of sexual abuse and harassment.

The New York Times published an expose where they spoke of the famous producer taking advantage of his position to abuse and sexually harass actresses in Hollywood. Among the actresses who spoke against him are Ashley Judd (who spoke with the Times), Rose McGowan (talked later), Gwyneth Paltrow, Angelina Jolie.

Well, JUSTICE? Now comes the trial… Let’s see…
