Dwayne Johnson sends a feminist message

Actor Dwayne Johson has taken the occasion of becoming a father for the launch of a feminist message on Instagram, with a letter that has been published alongside a photograph with his newborn baby.

Skin-to-skin. Our mana. Blessed and proud to bring another strong girl into this world. Tiana Gia Johnson came into this world like a force of nature and Breast @laurenhashianofficial labored and delivered like a true rockstar. I was raised and surrounded by strong, loving women all my life, but after participating in baby Tia’s delivery, it’s hard to express the new level of love, respect and admiration I have for @laurenhashianofficial and all moms and women out there. Word to the wise gentlemen, it’s critical to be by your lady’s head when she’s delivering, being as supportive as you can.. holding hands, holding legs, whatever you can do. But, if you really want to understand the single most powerful and primal moment life will ever offer – watch your child being born. Its a life changer and the respect and admiration you have for a woman, will forever be boundless. And to my third and youngest daughter, Tiana Gia – like I did when your two older sisters Simone Alexandra and Jasmine Lia were born, you have my word, I’ll love, protect, guide and make ya laugh for the rest of my life. Your crazy dad has many responsibilities and wears many hats in this big ol’ world, but being your dad will always be the one I’m most proud to wear. Oh and one more thing.. you’re gonna love rollin’ in daddy’s pick up truck. #TianaGiaJohnson🌺 #3rdDaughter #BlessesAndGratefulMan #ImInTROUBLE

The letter begins as follows: “I feel fortunate and proud for having brought another strong girl to this world. Tiana Gia Johnson came to this world as a force of nature, and mom @laurenhashianofficial worked and behaved like a rock star”.

The letter continues: “I’ve grown up all my life surrounded by strong and loving women, but after participating in the birth of Tia, it is difficult to express the level of love, respect, and admiration that I have for Lauren and for all mothers“.

“A few words are sufficient. It is essential to be by the side of your woman when she is giving birth, supporting her in every possible way. Holding hands, holding their legs, doing what you can do.

“You have to understand the most powerful and fundamental that life will offer: seeing your child being born. It changes your life, and the respect and admiration you feel for a woman to be infinite forever”.

“And my third and youngest daughter, Tiana Giana, as I did when your two older sisters Simone Alexandra and Jasmine Lia were born, I promise I’ll love you, will protect you, will guide you and will  make you laugh for the rest of my life.”

At the end of the letter adds a bit of humor: “Your crazy father has many responsibilities and plays many roles in this great world, but being your father will always be the one I will be most proud to play. Oh, and one more thing… You’re going to love driving  in  daddy’s pickup truck, dad.”
